LMAO that’s great! I never remember I have that shield bubble until its too late when I play Volus. x.x It sounds a bit boring but also quite cool. XD If I’m Volus again next time for at least one of the matches I’ll certainly have to try that~
The role of the Volus is incredibly useful and necessary, but also under-appreciated because you just don’t earn any points playing it. It’s boring, but incredibly invaluable. The only reason I get any points is because I use strength enhancers so my melee damage is at least doing something useful. I’d really like to try to take one of the damage roles, but people usually don’t want to play the tank or support because of the fact that you don’t earn any points :(

Yeah, it seems like a really solid squad setup. That’s why I’m interested in trying it with people of different skill levels, just to see if it’s at all skill-based or if it really is just that easy. Granted, the reason why I always play the Juggernaut is because that doesn’t really require much skill; it’s mostly just the powers build.
Also we discovered another interesting tidbit about this last night. As the Volus, you can just hang out right beside the Juggernaut and alternate using shield boost and heavy melee shield bubble and you’re almost invincible that way. Good stuff.

I suspect this is the same setup that we used to 3man it that one time but if not or just in general, I’d be up for someone-outside-main-group testing just about whenever or wherever. xD

Platinum Builds
I’m just throwing these together to help you make your own builds. I’ve only personally had experience with being the Juggernaut, but the Volus build I’m recommending is highly important because you need shield boost and recon mine. The Justicar is also recommended because warp bubble is amazing, but it’s not strictly necessary.

REVENGE OF THE PROTHEANS
The last time we did this, I was using the Collector Rifle instead of the Particle Rifle and got second place in score. I think I’m just better with that gun. (This is on the “weapons platform” build for the Awakened Collector).
Also, Dark Channel rolling around the map wreaking havoc is hilarious.

So I’m writing this Me3 fanfic
It’s about a quarian who cuts her pilgrimage short to rejoin the flotilla and help retake Rannoch. Only they end up not fighting at all and she ends up stuck on a ship in the Flotilla. Geth units get assigned to her ship as well, to her dismay. The reaper war ensues, as well as geth/quarian friendshipping and possibly shipping. Pretty much all of the characters are ocs.
I don’t know what compelled me to write this but I’m already 6 pages in. ._. Is this… even something people would read?
